Slate roofs (Hackney, Bow, Bethnal Green): Requires careful slate cutting and the slate flashing kit specific to the slate size and exposure. We reuse sound surrounding slates and source matching replacements where cutting damages existing slates.
Concrete/clay tile roofs (Ilford, Romford, Barking): Tile flashing kits accommodate standard UK tile profiles. The installation is more forgiving than slate — tiles can be cut and trimmed more easily.
Flat roofs (extensions, dormers): Flat glass rooflights sit on upstands formed in the flat roof membrane. We coordinate with the flat roof covering to ensure the junction is waterproof — this is the critical detail that many installers get wrong.
